    license for AWR

    user522961
      Hi,
      in 11g R2 on Win 2008,
AWR is installed by default. But it is not free to use it.
      How to uninstall it ?
How to verify if it is uninstalled ?

      Thank you.

You do not have to uninstall it. Just do not use it if you do not want to pay for it.

            Aman....
The AWR data is the snapshots that's collected automatically every 60 minutes by default. As long as you won't change the parameter Statistics_level, this behavior would remain but that's not what is licensed IMO. It's the scripts that make use of this data like awrrpt.sql etc. So if you don't want to pay for the cost of the license of using these scripts, simply don't fire them and use Statspack.

How can you have what, zero snapshots you mean? Quite possible that you may have disabled the snapshot collection?

In case it isn't clear, Oracle uses some of AWR for its internal use. So you don't really uninstall it, you just remove access to it, and possibly stop some optional data collection.

My problem is that since one week I have no more snapshot and then no AWR report.I do not know why ? I had it before.
