no, i do not try your previous suggession yet, but it comes now by simply putting aa in the iconic file name.(as you said in previous post)

but if i try to include one more gif file for example bb.gif, it is not working with that.
only the first time i create the icons.jar file with aa.gif is coming.

so i think i have to clear the client cashe or jar cashe.

    how to clear it?

+1. the jar cashe is not cleared? why?how?+

Why do you think the jar cache is not cleared, at the java console you may see that cached files have been erased.

    +2. how to sign a jar?+

Open command prompt. Add [OraHome]\jdk\bin to the PATH:

    set PATH=[OraHome]\jdk\bin;%PATH%

Sign the jar file, as follows:

    [OraHome]\forms\webutil\sign_webutil [OraHome]\forms\java\[jar file name]

and check the output for success

when you run your form do you get the following message:

"Java has discovered application components that could indicate a security concern" ??

    yes, i find this,

and i am saying it is not cleared because when i choose the bb.gif as image file name
it do not give me the security warning. and no icon is displayed

and when i choose aa.gif (the one from which i create the icons.jar file at the very begging) ,
it display the security warning, and display the icon.

    ( i have two file in the d:image folder. aa.gif and bb.gif.
now i go to command promt and type as follow
    d:\images\jar -cvf icons.jar *.gif

the icons.jar is created. but when i choose the bb file , it do not displayed.

it do not give me the security warning

The warning that apears is "Java has discovered application components that could indicate a security concern" if it is you almost have it and you must use the image file name that gives you the warning

The warning is because you haven't signed the jar yet.

As a second option instead of signing, do the next:

At java console from control panel:

advaced tab -> security -> mixed code -> and select the option "Enable - hide warning and run with protections"

after that erase the cache and try, this is my last reply since its almost 3am in my country, i'm returning in about 5 hours, hope you get it.

if you have access to MOS look for note: Warning "Java has discovered application components that could indicate a security concern" displayed with jre 1.6 update 19+ [ID 1081755.1]

    Regards
    Carlos
