Hi,

I installed oracle 11gR2 client 64-bit Linux X86 software on app server. I choose administrator option. After installing developers can connect to the database but they said they are missing the below libraries so far when trying to compile the Pro*C .
-lnbeq11 -lnhost11 -lnus11 -lnldap11 -lldapclnt11 -lnsslb11 -lntcp11 -lntcps11 -lnsslb11 -lntcp11 -lntns11

Please let me know what need to be installed still ? Thanks in advance.

Double check that. Taking your statement at face value, you are saying you installed a 64-bit client on a 32-bit OS. That will never work and if that's what you did I'd be surprised if you didn't get some installation errors that your aren't telling us about.

Actually, you did. You said "Linux X86". That is a 32-bit designation. The 64-bit equivalent is Linux x86-64.

Good. At least we have clarified that.

I couldn't find anything in the Installation Guide, but a few google searches seem to turn up some potential helps.
