I have a requirement for Rich Text Editor, for this i used Java bean Editor from Frite. Now it is working fine. But the problem is the entered text in the editor is converting into HTML code and the same is defaulting into the text field in the Forms. Now i want to covert the html to rich text and to show the same in the Forms. Is there any alternative way for this?
The text entered in Editor is converting into HTML format and the same is appearing in the Forms. As per my requirement,The same entered text needs to be shown in the Forms instead of HTML. For example,
In editor i entered "welcome "
after saving, in the forms it is showing
instead of the text alone. Kindly help is there any way i can show the entered text as it is.
You want to see the text as HTML or simply text without any decoration ? If yes, it is probably the third time you ask the same question, and the answer is always the same. Find a third-tiers program to remove the HTML tags from the text.
Thanks for your reply. Actually my problem is, Whatever text i entered in the Editor is converting to HTML format and storing same in database. When i open the form it is displaying in HTML but when i open the editor it is showing entered text. As suggested by you, can you please help which way i can convert to show the entered text in front end application.
Sorry, I referred this already.. This also returns the HTML text. But i don't want the HTML text. I want Normal Text what i enter in the Editor. But as of now all the editors are returning HTML text. So in the front end also it is showing HTML text only.
I entered the text in Editor as
System Defaulted Note
But editor returns as below and the same way it is showing in the Front end application instead of above text.
Yes, i must use HTML because for formatted text. But in the front end i can't show the HTML text right. For this is there any way i can show only text in front end. And when i open the editor i use only HTML text. For front end purpose i want to convert the HTML text (If i remove the HTML tags, then it would be better) for users.
