Please add the entry in system-jazn-data.xml file located in MW_HOME\user_projects\domains\idmdomain\config\fmwconfig folder.1 person found this helpful
Restart the servers and then try launching your custom page on click of the link.
Thanks.. Let me update that file and try once again.. By the way should we add a .jsff page or .jspx page in our new bounded taskflow?
You need to add jsff page and jspx page both in your ViewController.1 person found this helpful
In jspx page you need to bind your jsff page by dragging and dropping your tf.xml
You have a .jsff file in your project which is associated with your <tfName>-tf.xml file.
Create a jspx file and in that just drag and drop this <tfName>-tf.xml file.
Thanks. So after following the steps you have mentioned, when the taskflow in invoked in the actionListener of a button automatically the .jspx page also gets invoked right? and inside that the .jsff page gets displayed as a region?
Yes. You are right.1 person found this helpful
jspx page will automatically call the jsff page embedded inside it.
system-jazn-data.xml file located in MW_HOME\user_projects\domains\idmdomain\config\fmwconfig folder does not contain any similar taskflow entries. Should i be adding the permission here or in some other place?
search for reset-password-tf.xml in system-jazn-data.xml file
Place an entry below the same for your taskflow.
Let me know if you still face any issue.
You need to define permissions in APM console for any new taskflows deployed in OIM.
reset-password-tf.xml is not present in system-jazn-data.xml file.
Karthik, I did not configure APM console while installing OIM :( Is there anyway to configure now without disturbing my installation?
search for the content
and add your tf same way.
There should be some line as below in your system-jazn-data.xml
Yes it is there but not in the system-jazn-data.xml file in MW_HOME\user_projects\domains\idmdomain\config\fmwconfig. It is present in the system-jazn-data.xml file in oim_server1\tmp\_WL_user\oracle.iam.console.identity.self-service.ear_V2.0\6bddg\META-INF

Try updating this file only and see if it works.
I updated this file.
When i tried accessing this .jspx page directly i am getting this error
10.4.2 401 Unauthorized
The request requires user authentication. The response MUST include a WWW-Authenticate header field (section 14.46) containing a challenge applicable to the requested resource. The client MAY repeat the request with a suitable Authorization header field (section 14.8). If the request already included Authorization credentials, then the 401 response indicates that authorization has been refused for those credentials. If the 401 response contains the same challenge as the prior response, and the user agent has already attempted authentication at least once, then the user SHOULD be presented the entity that was given in the response, since that entity MAY include relevant diagnostic information. HTTP access authentication is explained in section 11.
