Please note the I use the Apache Commons IO package in the version 2.0.1 which you need to download from the Apache Software Foundation web side. The use the class IOUtils which allow easy copying of streams.
Thanks for your reply Timo,
As soon as i posted the thread i found that out. I downloaded the jar, but i keep on getting the error.
Is there a specific package i need to import? My JDeveloper's version is 126.96.36.199.
No, you only have to add the jar to your project as library.
I did. Nothing worked.
I even tried it on Jdev 188.8.131.52.
I'm sure you don't have anything else in mind?
Not sure what you downloaded, but if you use http://mirror.switch.ch/mirror/apache/dist//commons/io/binaries/commons-io-2.4-bin.zip and unzip the zip you can use commons-io-2.4.jar from the commons-io-2.4 folder and it should work.
Thanks Timo it worked! Apparently i imported a different package at first and didn't delete it which conflicted with the org.apache.commons package.
