I am using JDeveloper/Oracle ADF 18.104.22.168.0.
I have a jsf page with a table that was build via a named query. I selected the search with table option when dragging the named query onto the page.
The named query uses a bind variable that is not set with the page loads; therefore, no data is display even though the query is executed.
But, I can then click the Search button and data is displayed.
I tried setting the default value of the bind variable to "%" in the VO, but that didn't work.
So, is there a way that I can get all data displayed when the page loads. Maybe programmatically invoking the clicking of the Search button?
Thanks for your assistance.
Thanks for you reply.
I believe that I didn't clearly explain the problem.
I would like to set the bind variable on the View Criteria before the page loads.
That way, when the View Criteria is executing data will be displayed.
At the moment, it appears that the View Criteria is executed, but because the bind variable isn't set, no data is displayed.
