I'm trying to download a file using this link [tompeez.wordpress.com/tag/affiledownloadactionlistener/].
The code contains a method that copies data from the BLOB to the output stream:
I'm getting the following compilation: errorError(40,18): cannot find method copy(java.io.InputStream,java.io.OutputStream).
I tried importing many packages, but nothing worked.
Right from the blog:
Please note the I use the Apache Commons IO package in the version 2.0.1 which you need to download from the Apache Software Foundation web side. The use the class IOUtils which allow easy copying of streams.
Thanks for your reply Timo,
As soon as i posted the thread i found that out. I downloaded the jar, but i keep on getting the error.
Is there a specific package i need to import? My JDeveloper's version is 184.108.40.206.
Not sure what you downloaded, but if you use http://mirror.switch.ch/mirror/apache/dist//commons/io/binaries/commons-io-2.4-bin.zip and unzip the zip you can use commons-io-2.4.jar from the commons-io-2.4 folder and it should work.
