    adding standby redo logs

    user8875620
      My primary and standby is running. The Standby is applying the log files.

      Then, I added standby redo log files to my primary database.
      The issue is I didn't create the folder/directory on the standby side.

      Now it's been a month. I accidentally was checking something else, then I noticed this issue.
      There is no apply log gaps. But I do not see the physical standby redo log files on the standby side on the OS level.

      How do I fix this issue now?

      select * from v$logfile matches on primary and standby side.

      SQL> select * from v$logfile order by group#;

      GROUP# STATUS TYPE MEMBER
      ---------- ------- ------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------
      1 ONLINE /ora_xxx_redo/oracle/xxx/log/redo01.log
      2 STANDBY /ora_xxx_01/oracle/xxx/stb_redo/stb_redo01.log
      3 STANDBY /ora_xxx_02/oracle/xxx/stb_redo/stb_redo02.log

          Hello;

          SQL> ALTER DATABASE RECOVER MANAGED STANDBY DATABASE CANCEL;

          and then

          alter database add standby logfile group ? size ?;

          For each missing group with your size.

          Start apply again when complete.

          Check
          SQL>select * from v$standby_log;
          Best Regards

            Slightly off topic but I don't know who you are: Does "far north" mean you might be at OUGF or OUGN next month? Please contact me off-line at my email address so we don't abuse the forum or this thread. Thanks.
