When you reschedule the class, then the page starts the workflow process OTA_CLASS_CANCEL_JSP_PRC(Class Cencellation) under the workflow type OTAWF(OTA Workflow) (Not HRSSA) . This workflow sends notification to all of the people who enrolled into the class. We can't use our custom workflow here so we have to update oracle supplied workflow in order to stop the notifications on date changes. We have changed in our system to stop the notifications and it's working for us. Please consult Oracle support before you do this change. Seeded workflow change is not upgrade proof.
FYI: This is just a suggestion, please consider all aspects before changing seeded workflow.

What do you suggest regarding new class instead of changing existing one. if we create new class and assigne only those particurl employee then it will not send any notification to those who alread taken class.
If you are creating a new class and enrolling the employees it still sends notification as it's now altogether a different case(treating it as very new and different enrolment to a different class).
It's not a correct solution for your problem.
Thanks for your support.
Let suppose, we created class “class1” in which enrolled around 100 employees. Now we have created another class “class2” and assigned only those employees who didn't previously attend “class1” due to new joining. Therefore it sends notification to “class1” employee instead of “class2”.
Could you describe, why is not proper way to resolve our issue?
It only sends notification to employees who are enrolled into Class2 irrespective of whether they have already completed Class1 or not.1 person found this helpful
So if you only enroll set of employees who haven't completed this course into Class2, then it should work fine.
