      In 3.2.1 for a HVMwPVdrivers, do we only need to add kmod-xenpv-kernel_type or do we have to add a full kernel-xenU and remake initrd?

      Are the steps to make a "HVM using PV drivers" the same steps as those to make a PVM?

      I am using OVM3.2.1 & trying to change a VM in the GUI from "Xen HVM" to "Xen HVM,PV Drivers".

      I am concerned that the 3.2.1 User's Guide seems to list the exact same steps for making a "HVM,PVdrivers" as a "PVM" which I don't think is accurate as I would at least assume the last step of selecting the domain type in the GUI would be different but the documentation doesn't delineate even that obvious difference.

      A review of the OVM2.2.2 documentation seems to only need to install kmod-xenpv-kernel_type for a HVMwPVdrivers but the 3.2.1 documentation seems to indicate that you have to install the kernel-xenU for both PVM & HVM,PVdrivers_

      Are the steps in 3.2.1 to make a "HVM using PV drivers" really the same steps as those to make a PVM?

      To compare, OVM 2.2.2 User's Guide breaks these into two distinct processes:_

      - 4.7 Converting a Hardware Virtualized Guest to a Paravirtualized Guest;

      - 4.8 Installing Paravirtual Drivers

      _but the OVM 3.2.1 User's guide's section 7.13 combines both into "Converting to Paravirtualized Guests OR Installing Paravirtualized Drivers":_*
