Hello everyone,

I m using Forms11gr2 64-bit with Weblogic 10.3.6 on Windows Server 2008 ent (64-bit).

I have a Menu-Bar in my application ,which has a option of EXIT, underwhich I defined a following built-in,

do_key('exit_form') (which have to exit from my current menu and goes to main form).

but when I click on this option, It doesn't work.

Same built-in is working well on another server.

Please guide me as early as possible.

Thanks & Regards.

Dev.

    Hi, Dev.
Do you have any Key-EXIT trigger in the form ?
just use Exit_form; in place of do_key('exit_form') and let us know is it works ?

    Hi Hamid,

Yes, I have KEY-EXIT trigger in my main form, which calls this MENU.

I replaced Do_key('exit_form') with exit_form in Menu-option, but no success.

    Please guide.

    Thanks/Regards.

Most probably you are in collusion of this trigger with menu code. remove this trigger (also from the open form) and try.

    Hope this helps

Did you re-generate your executables (fmx and mmx) on the destination server? Are both servers the same OS?

Hi Dev, Do you have only one menu module defined?

If so, do you have define the menu name at Forms level properties in the Functional group ?

This is not mandatory but could help. Try it.
Go to Forms properties, then Functional -->Menu Module = menu.mmx (or your menu's name)
Take care if you are using Unix, Linux or case sensitive operating system.

    If not,
how did you call or open your form?
I ask you due to if you call your form using call_forms('inv0053', HIDE, NO_REPLACE); with "NO_REPLACE" option it is possible that you are using the wrong menu module.

If you have only one menu module define, you must recompile your menu module *.mmb at the target system.

    I hope this helps you,

    Jorge
