Suggestion reagarding redundnacy for Vote disks

    User505359-OC
      Dear Gurus,

I have installed 11.2.0.3 Grid Infrastructure using external redundancy.I want to replace the votedisk. I have 3 raw disks of 2Gb each available for votedisks. Please suggest me which kind of redundancy should I use if I want create a disk group using those 3 raw disks to replace the original votedisk.

      Waiting for your kind help

      Thanks,
      Pradeepta

You should use a diskgroup with normal redundancy.

For more details about votting disk, please refer :

in your case normal redundancy is ok.
according to oracle the best practise we should use 3 voting disks.

External redundancy: A disk group with external redundancy can store only one voting disk
Normal redundancy: A disk group with normal redundancy stores three voting disks
High redundancy: A disk group with high redundancy stores five voting disks

            refer below link.
