Move the js to the top of the page and try. Dont remember, but long time back we ran into this issue and it is just before the script was loaded the clientListener was invoked resulting in the js function not found. Try that and see if you find any luck.1 person found this helpful

Another way and I think is more clean. Put your code in a js file. And reference the file in the beginning
note that af:resource should not be nested in a component definition but below the af:document tag or on top pf a page fragment
I have exact same issue as you mentioned. I tried suggestions by Frank & others, but that did not solve my issue.

put JS in metaContainer facet as below, which absolutely works. Also try clean your browser cache.

I had this issue when i was calling js function in ADF page fragments.
i did lot of debug but finally i found that two jsff fragments are using the same component id, you can look into naming containers more on this.
but i would suggest you one quick solution you can change the button id and try it once.hope this works
