I am trying to mount a FAT32 filesystem which resides on an iSCSI host from my Solaris 10 system. I have been unable to do so, when I try to mount I am getting "I/O Error". When I do the same with UFS everything is working fine.
Does Solaris 10 support iSCSI targets which have FAT32 filesystems?
I am looking for specific information as to whether FAT/FAT32 is supported over an iSCSI transport on Solaris 10 SPARC. So far I am unable to create a FAT32 filesystem using iSCSI. I can only create UFS using newfs.
I dont need to create, I just need to mount an iSCSI LUN which was formatted by a Windows host as FAT32. For my understanding, it should be just like mounting a FAT32 USB Drive, but it doesnt seem to work. I get I/O error trying to mount.
