create a custom cookie in wcs
Apr 10, 2013 7:07 PM
Being a newbie to wcs I am not sure if we can create/read/delete a custom cookie in the JSP based on the url parameter. Here is flow we are looking for -
User comes to the page with a parameter - htttp://example.com/example1.jsp?parameter=test
We capture the 'parameter' in example1.jsp and create a cookie that would expire in 'x' hours. On example2.jsp we read the cookie and delete the cookie.
Do we foresee any issues in creating a custom cookie in the JSP as described above ?
I have the same question

Unless you are trying to set & read the cookie in the same request i don't see any issues.
