I think the only way is to set the filters on report level. You may go with any filter for which there is no data or else any...1 person found this helpful

You can add "No results" view to the report.
So by default you will have No results.
Whenever any user uses the prompt report will display the data with what ever other views it does have.
In 11g you can have custom message
Txs. for your comments... But with this option, I believe the user would have to wait until all the analysis completes... in order to use the prompts right ?
analysis completesYou mean loading? I dont think there would be much waiting...
ex: if you set a report level filter to current_date, there would be no data and it would show no results in no time.. other than real time reports.
There is no workaround for this, other than what I suggested. This is the only way to stop executing reports on dashboard
