Dear Mr. O.Developer, Many thanks for your reply.
Yes, I've created relationship. Relationship exist in Master_Block and below is the detail
Relationship Name = MGTC_EDM_MGT_EDD
Relation Type = Join
Detail Data Block = MGTC_EDD
Join Condition = MGTC_EDD.EDM_ID = MGTC_EDM.EDM_ID
Delete Record Behavior = Non Isolated
Prevent Masterless Operations = No
Deferred = No
Automatic Query = No
Check the Detail Block DATA property make sure COPY VALUE FROM ITEM is not empty.
should be masterblock.itemname
Dear Mr. Ahmed , thanks for your contribution.
I've also checked that and PROPERTY IS SET AS BELOW
Copy Value From Item = MGTC_EDM.EDM_ID
So, I've solved my problem by applying a "KEY_NEXT_ITEM" trigger on master-block field BILLING_DATE. Detail is as under:-
IF :BILL_DATE IS NOT NULL THEN
MESSAGE ('PLEASE PROVIDE BILL DATE');
SELECT EDM_ID INTO :MGTC_EDD.EDM_ID FROM MGTC_EDM WHERE MGTC_EDM.EDM_ID = :MGTC_EDM.EDM_ID;
