Java OCP Certification 1Z0-805 (with previous Sun Certified Programmer 1.4)

      Hello everybody,

I have a question about the Upgrade-Certification Process:

I did two Sun Certificatinos in the past (Sun Certified Programmer 1.4 and Sun Certified Web Component Developer 5) with an old Prometric ID.

I now want to update my Programmer Certificate to OCP 7 by certification 1Z0-805 (requires a old Sun Certified Java Programmer Certification). But I don't habe an Orcale Testing ID.
Where can I get such an ID, and migrate the old certifications (because they are required for certification they have to be provided somewhere, haven't they?)

      Regards,
      Timo

Your old Prometric Id is your Oracle Testing ID.

You must mention that registering on pearson vue, and that will allow you to track it in certview.

          e.g. From here:

          http://www.pearsonvue.com/Oracle/

Choose MY ACCOUNT ... then create new web account:

          Under Previous Testing History

Click: yes, I do have an Oracle Testing ID (or earlier ID from another vendor)
Enter your Oracle Testing ID (or earlier ID from another vendor), if available: (Put your prometric id here).

          .......

This may ake a couple of working days to get verified.

When it does you need to Login to cerview here: First time users.... Authenicate my certview account .... http://certview.oracle.com/

Once logged into certview you should see you previous exams. If so all is correct and you should have no problems.
