1. The virtual IP is essential to the operation of the server pool. Obviously a server pool is always active. Can you imagine the implications of trying to set a new target virtual IP of the pool within the time value of the cluster heartbeat?
2. Create a new server pool with the IP you want. Shutdown your VM guests. Move the servers to the new server pool. Start your guests.
You present repos to servers. NOT pools.

The answer given may be true for clustered Repositories on shared storage. If you are using Direct Attached Storage and one Server per pool, it is possible to change the VIP of the pool. It's complicated, but possible.1 person found this helpful
Could you explain how changing the pool IP is possible please? This would be very useful to me for cloned pre-configured environments.
