Need to know how Contains Any operator in OBIEE Answers works.
Issue : I am filtering a column with Contains any operator with first value as 'SALES' and second value as 'Sales' - Gives no results page. If I alter filter like, first value as 'Sales' and Second Value as 'SALES' - gives records with SALES.
If i look at backend query , obiee considers only second value ( T1413022.column name like '%%Sales%%' )..
If obiee considers only second value why its been designed to enter multiple values if select contains any as operator.
I'm not seeing the same behavior... When I set my filter to "... contains any Sales SALES" the resulting SQL I'm seeing is "... LIKE %Sales SALES%". If I change it to 'SALES Sales' my SQL becomes "... LIKE %SALES Sales%'.
What version of OBIEE are you running? What type of source are you going against?
