unable to connect to database in sqldeveloper-220.127.116.11.40

i am trying to create a new connection in sqldeveloper-18.104.22.168.40 but it displaying that error with Network Adapter please tell me whether i want to install any additional software.
I have the same question

Version 1.5 is very old, you should get the latest version (3.2) if you can .
The network adapter error often means an error in the connection definition. Please post the details of how you have defined the connection.
