Are you able to view data from a table that is recently added to the repository?
Make sure that your connection pool is configured correctly and database listener is up and running by checking tnsping.
Hope this helps to identify the root cause of your problem.
Yes. I can query the tables.
When I update row count then row counts are updated successfully.
The important part is that the database tables for both the subject area are in same database, just different schema.
One subject area ( standard) gives results without any issue. The extended subject area pointing to new schema is giving error. The data is in same database.
One more question.
Is there anything I need to in presentation catalog? We deployed a catalog provided by Oracle.
That catalog does not have any details about this new subject area.
Do I need to modify/add something to this catalog?
Do I need to establish any connection between subject area and the catalog?
Appreciate the feedback.
You just have to make sure the access is granted to the respective users/roles for the new subject area.
Restart the BI services and check if you see any error in nqserver.log for this subject area.
