Hello Experts,

I have installed Grid for Cluster and Oracle Database in Active-Passive mode with the help of scripts.

I have listener.ora placed at grid home on both the nodes and it is as:
---------------------------------------------------------------
LISTENER=
(DESCRIPTION =
(ADDRESS_LIST =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = IPC)(KEY = LISTENER))
)
)

LISTENER_SCAN1 =
(DESCRIPTION =
(ADDRESS_LIST =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = IPC)(KEY = LISTENER_SCAN1))
)
)

ENABLE_GLOBAL_DYNAMIC_ENDPOINT_LISTENER_RG1 = ON

ENABLE_GLOBAL_DYNAMIC_ENDPOINT_LISTENER_SCAN1 = ON

ENABLE_GLOBAL_DYNAMIC_ENDPOINT_LISTENER = ON

LISTENER_RG1 =
(DESCRIPTION_LIST =
(DESCRIPTION =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = customappvip)(PORT = 1521)(IP = FIRST))
)
)

REMOTE_LISTENER=vipclu-scan.atm.com:1521

SID_LIST_LISTENER_RG1 =
(SID_LIST =
(SID_DESC =
(GLOBAL_DBNAME =sub)
(ORACLE_HOME =/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/db_1/)
(SID_NAME =sub)
)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am able to startup and connect to database from nodes, but when i try to connect to database from remote client, i get the following error:
-----------------------------------
