Replicate ddl in an instance

Hi,

I would like to replicate two schemas in an instance to another database with same version (11g). One schema with ddl and one shcema without ddl. This approach can be supported as looked up from oracle manual.

However, I would like to obtain some examples on how to implement this. Are there any links or any examples?

Thanks

    Hi,

    You can refer below doc:

    How To Setup One-Way SCHEMA Level Streams Replication (Doc ID 301431.1)
    -The sample code replicates both DML and DDL.

    And for capturing only DML statemenets you can set include_ddl to false in the below code. Other than this the setup is same.

    BEGIN
    DBMS_STREAMS_ADM.ADD_SCHEMA_RULES(
    schema_name => 'HR',
    streams_type => 'APPLY ',
    streams_name => 'STREAM_APPLY',
    queue_name => 'STRMADMIN.STREAMS_QUEUE',
    include_dml => true,
    include_ddl => true,
    source_database => 'STRM1.NET');
    END;
    /

    Thanks,
    Reena
