    crs_stat demons are offline state

      Hi,

      I successfully installed grid and created RAC database. but when i checked the crs status all the diskgroups,gsd and oc4j are in offline mode. how to make them online.

          You can try this:
          srvctl start diskgroup -g <group_name>

            I tried to start the diskgroup using the mentioned command, but it showing the following error.

                Try to connect to asm :

                export ORACLE_SID=+ASM
                export ORACLE_HOME=<grid home>
                sqlplus '/as sysasm'

                      Try to manually mount diskgroups and check status of diskgroup resources:
                      SQL> alter diskgroup all mount;

                        I make all the disk groups are online by making AUTO_START parameter in diskgroup from never to always as follows


                        $ crs_stat -p ora.ARCLOG.dg
                        $ crsctl modify resource "ora.DATA.dg" -attr "AUTO_START=always"

                          $ crsctl modify resource "ora.DATA.dg" -attr "AUTO_START=always"
                          Note that modifying "ora." resources with crsctl is not recommended.
