    gcstartup referenced several times

      1) My grid install is on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, 32 bit. The default run level of my server is run level 5. The gcstartup script is under /etc/init.d. The gcstartup script is referenced as a K# and S# in each of these three run level directories: /etc/rc2.d, /etc/rc3.d and /etc/rc5.d. I am curious as to why the duplication? I would have expected them to occur just once, in one of the run level directories.

      2) If my repository database is on the same machine as the grid software, does it matter if the database is started before, or after, the OMS services (what is the best practice)?
