user_dump_dest string /u01/app/oracle/diag/rdbms/edm p2/edmp2/trace
udump bdump are replace with diagnostic_dest in 11g1 person found this helpful

What's your DIAGNOSTIC_DEST ?
You can check by follows.
# check Diag Trace.
SQL> select * from v$diag_info;

There so lots of folders in diag which are confusing. :(
So where can I find my output for > ALTER SYSTEM SET SQL_TRACE = TRUE SCOPE=MEMORY;

The has been lots of "locking" transaction happening. Can I see it in OEM emca database control, or in the database level trace and tkfprof ?
