Can I change X-axis labels for a scatter charts

    588514
      Hi all,
I would like to use APEX 4.2 to build scatter charts.
I am able to build such charts using pairs of numbers, but I would like to use dates as x-axis labels . I would like to plot points like
      (1,2), (3,3), (4,2) with labels like "01/04/2013", "03/04/2013", "04/04/2013".
      Is it possible somehow?
Thanks in advance for every answer!
      Andrea

I just ran a test case on apex.oracle.com (APEX 4.2). I got a chart for
          SELECT NULL LINK,
                 ENAME LABEL,
                 DEPTNO X_VALUE,  -- numeric
                 SAL Y_VALUE
          FROM   EMP

          but not for

          SELECT NULL LINK,
                 ENAME LABEL,
                 HIREDATE X_VALUE,  -- date
                 SAL Y_VALUE
          FROM   EMP
However, AnyChart does seem to support this (http://www.anychart.com/products/anychart/gallery/Scatter-Charts.php). See the Scatter Plot: Area Chart with Date/Time on the bottom row. You can also look at the XML for this chart. (There are other varieties on the second row as well.)

APEX doesn't seem to support this natively yet. Can you get it by running your own custom XML for the chart? I don't know.

          Regards,
          Howard
