I am getting the files remotely with the help of FTP adapter and I am copying it to my local. But, If I am getting the same files one or more time through remote location, FTP adapter is throwing an error stating that the file already exists in the local location. Is there any property, where I can override the local files ( replace with the existing file), if the same file comes one ore more time from the remote location.
So u r reading from an ftp adapter, right?
Is this using BPEL, OSB, Mediator?
Once u read it, u r writing it locally? That's what u r doing?
If that is the case, do u need to write the local file with the same name?
How about adding some logic using BPEL.
Before writing a file with the same name as earlier.
check the existences of a file with a name in the local server, delete it if it exists.
Yes. As Wajid mentioned, maybe before writing, use the File ADapter but to list the directory. Then look if the file already exists, and if that is the case, delete it and then write it.
Hope this helps.
