Try adding the ORACLE_HOME to the LD_LIBRAIRY_PATH
See post from Nicolas for the corredt setting in the bash_profile
I tried your suggestion but no luck,i also gave the variables in bash profile and tried still same error,
TUXDIR=/home/oracle/tuxedo11gR1; export TUXDIR
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:$ORACLE_HOME/lib:$TUXDIR/lib; export LD_LIBRARY_PATH
PATH=$TUXDIR/bin:$PATH; export PATH
After this ran ./psconfig.sh
When i run ./psadmin
+./psadmin: error while loading shared libraries: libtrio64.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory+
1. What's your OS ? Wordsize (32 or 64-bit) ?
2. Peopletools version ?
3. Did you modified the .profile or ./bash_profile ?
4. Did you disconnected/reconnected after the changes ?
My OS is Oracle Enterprise Linux 6 64bit
Peopletools is 8.53
Yes i modified .bash_profile while installing Oracle 11g and now i added those tuxedo Env variables to it.
Yes i disconnected putty after modifying and reconnected, still error persists..
Am i missing something trivial out here??

In your first post:
TUXDIR=/middleware/tuxedo11gR1; export TUXDIRLater on
TUXDIR=/home/oracle/tuxedo11gR1; export TUXDIRWhich one is right according to your installation ?
Should we assume you installed Oracle 64-bit ?
id more .bash_profile env|sort ls -l $TUXDIR file $ORACLE_HOME/bin/sqlplus
.bash_profile edition added

Yes Nicolas ,first i had given /middleware/tuxedo11gR1 then i reinstalled to /home/oracle/tuxedo11gR1..nyways i resolved the issue by adding PS_HOME in LD_LIBRARY_PATH..but i have a new issue will create a separate new thread for that..
thanks for ur time..
