if you are a non-root user on a system and you want to be able to ssh, scp and sftp without entering a password, how would you do it? Which files will hold your private and public keys?
I will sincerely appreciate an explanation on this. Please!!!!!!
In order to perform ssh/scp/sftp from one system to a remote system as a non-root user, you should copy the ssh public key ($HOME/.ssh/id_dsa.pub or $HOME/.ssh/id_rsa.pub) on your local system to $HOME/.ssh/authorized_keys on the remote system.
