connecting and running a sql script from DOS prompt

I have a requirement where I need to connect to a databse and run a sql script file from DOS prompt.
Is it possible?Can u share me the code to do it .
I tried with below code,but not able to run the script
echo quit | sqlplus -s username/pwd@dbname@'C:\Documents and Settings\amugas\Desktop\DB_LINK.sql'

You are missing a space after dbname. The script is a separate parameter.
Also, Windows uses double-quotes around the script name, not single quotes.
