Our DRM instance is running but it keeps returning a session expired error and logging out users whenever an action is taken. So, if a user tries to open a hierarchy it logs them out and shows an expired session message, "You have been logged out because your session expired."

Please check if in IIS on the Server the Migration and Web Client are using DRM_Pool Application pool and not Default Pool. If Its default pool change it to DRM Pool and then refresh IIS.
Let me know if this works or the issue still persists.
