I set up a global node property in a category as 'derived' and 'overridable', and it appears to work fine in all 'alternate' hierarchy groups and 'alternate' hierarchies.
However, in the MAIN hierarchy of the DRM application, this same global node property only shows in that category at the TOP node level. It does not appear in the category at any lower node level within the MAIN hierarchy.
Can anyone help me with issue? I need this Global property to appear throughout the DRM application in ALL Versions/Hierarchy Groups/Hierarchies/Nodes
I checked the hierarchies that were not displaying the Global node property I needed, and sure enough - they all had the same Node Type assigned to them (the other hierarchies that are working as expected did not).
I checked the parameter tab of my Global node property, and it is referencing the Node Type, so I'm not sure what else I can do to make this property show up properly in these main hierarchies.
Check the property definition for the property assigned on the Hierarchy level propertyHierarchy Node Type* and see if any of the node types being evaluated there do not include the property you have created in its node type definition.
If there are any such node types then you need to include your property by going to that particular node type.
