I have an af:table that shows a checkbox for delete, employee name and employee contact columns. The table is using EditingMode as "clickToEdit". The delete checkbox is becoming editable when I click on row. However, I would like the checkbox column to be always editable and other the remaining columns to be editable when doing click to Edit (default behavior). How how I acheive this behavior?
I am using Jdev 188.8.131.52

There is a work around, create two attributes in your Table's VO and you can bind your components readOnly property with these Attribute.
Checkbox readonly attribute, default to True and Other columns readOnly default to False.
Set it to true on your conditional action.
Hi Neha -
This will not work as the table mode is clicktoedit and setting a check box property to readOnly does not do any good. I want to make Checkbox column editable always even in clickToEdit table mode.
So only I said it a work around. As in your case, you don't want to have the behavior of 'clickToEdit' and Edit should be done when Click of CheckBox *(which is in ReadOnly = False everytime)*
Have you checked what I suggested ? I think it would work absolutely fine with your case.
