If you have applied all the 220.127.116.11.1 patches then your Admin Tool client .exe is also updated.
Search for the client exe under Oracle_Home and install again.

After upgrading Oracle BI from 18.104.22.168 to 22.214.171.124, I have a problem with the Administration Tool. I'm adding a new application role from the EM, then I'm starting Administration Tool / Manage / Identity -> Action / Synchronize Application Roles. Unfortunately, the newly added role does not appear in the list. What is the problem?
You need to do it in online mode. And also try manage->identity->FIle->filter -> * that will list all the roles from EM

Unfortunately, this advice does'nt help. All operations in the Administration Tool I'm doing online, setting "*" .in Set Online User Filter also didn't help. Any other suggestions?
online filter * should work. If not then try to restart OBIEE services using ./opmnctl command line
we've tried to synchronize application rooles from Administration Tool, but without any positive results. List of application rooles in EM/bifoundation_domain is different from a list in Administration Tool/Identity Manager/Application Roles. There aren't any errors in bifoundation_domain logs, but in weblogic domain logs we have many erros with the same description:
"Failed to get WLS users.". What could be the reason?
PS User filter settings affects only 'Users' card: if I set user fileter to "*", I see all users from LDAP provider, but this setting doesn't affect to Application Roles card...
