Hi,

I'm running a SUN Fire V240 for an Oracle DB but I receive the next message:

SC Alert: TEMP_SENSOR @ MB.P0.T_CORE has exceeded high warning threshold

How can i resolve this issue?
Thanks and regards

Check first that the server is in a acceptable environment in term of temperature. Then, if this is the case, you should open a service request to determine if you have a hardware/firmware issue.

    Everything looks right inside.
    What device is the MB.P0.T_CORE?

Can I check what are the top values for this sensor and edit them?

    Regards.

It is the core temperature for your CPU #0 (processor #0).

You can probably use prtdiag as root user to see the design settings for `low shutdown`, `low warning`, `high warning`, and `high shutdown` for a variety of components in that system.
    and edit them?
No. Those settings are hard-coded into the design of the circuitry.
