SQLPlus related query
May 16, 2013 7:27 AM
One of my Customer has the following query
After setting 'whenever oserror exit 3',once some kinds of OS error
occurs, sql*plus will exit with return code '3',and the following message
will be showed.
- No such file or directory
Now,Customer is asking about how to specify what exactly OS error occurred?
From the following document,
SQL*PlusR User's Guide and Reference
SQL*Plus return a success or failure code, the operating system failure code.....
how to make SQL*Plus return the OS failure code?and from that code, could customer specify what kind of OS error occured?
I have the same question
