It's a health check script, in short. Usually used before or after an upgrade to make sure everything is in order. What are you trying to do?
-- PURPOSE: -- This script is intended to provide a user friendly output to diagonise -- the status of the database before (or) after upgrade. The script will -- create a file called db_upg_diag_<sid>_<timestamp>.log in your local -- working directory.
