    if STANDBY_FILE_MANAGEMENT on standby database is set auto then tablespace and its datafiles will be created in standby database automatically

    if is set to manual then tablespace will be created but you have to copy the datafile to standby database manually.

    Hi,

    Then table space creating on standby database, where add datafile and resize, then standby database adding and resize data file.

    On Primary
    SQL> create tablespace APPDATA datafile '/u01/app/oracle/oradata/admdb/appdata01.dbf' size 10M autoextend on;

    Tablespace created.

    SQL> select name from v$datafile;

    NAME
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    /u01/app/oracle/oradata/admdb/system01.dbf
    /u01/app/oracle/oradata/admdb/sysaux01.dbf
    /u01/app/oracle/oradata/admdb/undotbs01.dbf
    /u01/app/oracle/oradata/admdb/users01.dbf
    /u01/app/oracle/oradata/admdb/example01.dbf
    /u01/app/oracle/oradata/admdb/appdata01.dbf

    6 rows selected.
    On Standby
    SQL> select name, bytes/1024/1024 from v$datafile;

    NAME                                            BYTES/1024/1024
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    /u01/app/oracle/oradata/stldb/system01.dbf         710
    /u01/app/oracle/oradata/stldb/sysaux01.dbf         620
    /u01/app/oracle/oradata/stldb/undotbs01.dbf         115
    /u01/app/oracle/oradata/stldb/users01.dbf           5
    /u01/app/oracle/oradata/stldb/example01.dbf  313.125
    /u01/app/oracle/oradata/stldb/appdata01.dbf          10

    6 rows selected.
    On Primary
    SQL> alter database datafile '/u01/app/oracle/oradata/admdb/appdata01.dbf' resize 100M;

    Database altered.
    On Standby
    SQL> select name, bytes/1024/1024 from v$datafile;

    NAME                                            BYTES/1024/1024
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    /u01/app/oracle/oradata/stldb/system01.dbf         710
    /u01/app/oracle/oradata/stldb/sysaux01.dbf         620
    /u01/app/oracle/oradata/stldb/undotbs01.dbf         115
    /u01/app/oracle/oradata/stldb/users01.dbf           5
    /u01/app/oracle/oradata/stldb/example01.dbf  313.125
    /u01/app/oracle/oradata/stldb/appdata01.dbf          100

    6 rows selected.
    Don't forget correct setting of parameters filename_convert and standby_file_management=AUTO on standby database

    On Standby
    SQL> show parameter standby

    NAME                         TYPE      VALUE
    ------------------------------------ ----------- ------------------------------
    standby_archive_dest               string      ?/dbs/arch
    standby_file_management           string      AUTO
