after that your package and a ODIFileMove / ODIFileDelete to cancel your file
Let us know
What commands do i use for the OSCommand ?
In detail, what i am trying to do is that
1. user copies .csv files into D:\Shared\Work
2. ODI picks up the .csv files and inserts them into DB table without waiting for the user to initiate process
Can ODIFileWait work for Folders?
How do i use ODIFileWait to wait for files in D:\Shared|Work ?
The example in the link is for DB Tables
WaitForData works with mask (ie *.csv). For example
Wait for the sales files *.dat for 5 minutes every second in directory c:\sales_in, then copy these files into directory C:\sales_ok. Do not overwrite.i copied wrong link in previous thread. The correct one is
OdiFileWait -ACTION=COPY -DIR=c:\sales_in -PATTERN=*.dat -TODIR=c:\sales_ok -FILECOUNT=0 -TIMEOUT=350000 -POLLINT=1000 -OVERWRITE=no
