          Hi,

Change the value of profile 'Sign-On:Notification' to 'No'.

what is the value for the Applications SSO Type on your instance ?:

              select profile_option_value from
              apps.fnd_profile_option_values fpov,
              apps.fnd_profile_options fpo
              where fpo.profile_option_name ='APPS_SSO'
              and fpov.profile_option_id=fpo.profile_option_id

              should be SSWA

Most probably, the issue is because: the Credentials used for Front End is not a valid Apps Local Login Credential.

You can check the same using the below query:

                SELECT FND_WEB_SEC.VALIDATE_LOGIN('<USERNAME>','<PASSWORD>') FROM DUAL;

                This query should return 'Y'.

                Soln:

                Simplest solution is :
                1.) Create a New User
                2.) Attach the below responsibilities:

                -- OA Framework ToolBox Tutorial
-- OA Framework ToolBox Tutorial Labs

                Hope this helps..

If you are using Oracle Single Sign On (11.1) then this can be caused if the APPS DN password has expired in OID.

You can check whether this is the cause by manually creating a user via the E-Business Suite 'User' form.   If the above is the cause you will receive the following error:

"Unable to call fnd_ldap_wrapper.create_user due to the following reason:

ORA-20001 - The LDAP APPS DN **orclapplicationcommonname=xxx,cn=ebusiness,cn=products,cn=oraclecontext,dc=xxxxx,dc=co,dc=uk** password has expired.

Please contact the Administrator to change APPS DN password.."

The solution is to remove the expiration of the password for this user in OID.
