Can you supply a bit more information? Which installer are you using, and exactly where in the install/boot process is this occurring? Is it while trying to boot from the install media, or after installation is complete and it is trying to boot from the harddrive?
I'm glad you solved the boot problem. I looked up this message in the Solaris source code and couldn't find it.
Historically, game consoles ran a UNIX operating system. I'm not sure whether that is true today. You might ask similar questions in the Solaris studio forums. I would love to see some video games developed on Solaris.
I discover quietly the Solaris environment and unix administration.
Firefox is really slow on my computer, i'm gone in the about:config for disabling ipv6, but he puts a lot of time for searching and reaching different websites.. With Opera, the problem is less pronounced, but i don't find again how install it properly. Same for Oracle studio. i'm in the documentation. After, i will attack the database tools.
I wanted to activate the http service (svcadm -v enable http), but when i consult the list (svcs -a | grep -i http) he stays in "maintenance". In Parallele, after activation of ipfilter, the firewall is online. No problem for him. i have tested nmap, tcpdump and wireshark, for consulting my open ports and network activity, i will close a few of them.
