Can you manually create two vnics and then the vsw after that like this:1 person found this helpful
I have not tried it with your exact setup (in an io domain) but I am fairly confident that this should work. Then again, I would have expected this to work equally in the global and storage domain
dladm create-vnic -l net0 vnic0 dladm create-vnic -l net0 vnic1 ldm add-vsw net-dev=vnic0 secondary-public-vsw0 secondary ldm add-vsw net-dev=vnic1 secondary-private-vsw0 secondary
yes, it works! when i create two vnic on my aggregation i can create two vsw :)
You may be able to create LDoms vsws on vnics created with dladm command, but a vsw won't function on a vnic. An LDoms vsw requires a GLDv3 device such as a physical NIC or aggr, to be able to configure mac-addresses, vlans and other information for each vnet, where as a VNIC is a meta device only.
