We have Oracle 11gR2 (220.127.116.11) RAC (2-Node) database on Linux x86 64-bit
We are having Active Sessions Waiting: Concurrency
All the connections are evenly distributed to both the nodes but we see more load on node-1 (95% CPU). node-2 is less than 2.5% CPU.
And in node-1 the CPU is high because of Concurrency . and there is blocking sessions on the database.
Dose anyone had similar issue?
Did you sure application connecting to database with SCAN name?
Can you paste here TNSNAMES.ora file content of client?
You should try to get more details about your problem.
Answering the following questions is a good start:
How many sessions are in each instance?
How many active sessions are in each instance?
select inst_id , count(*) from gv$session group by inst_id
What are those active sessions doing (for each instance)?
select inst_id , count(*) from gv$session where status = 'ACTIVE' group by inst_id
select inst_id , wait_class, count(*) from gv$session where status = 'ACTIVE' group by inst_id , wait_class
