we would like to setup a developlment server running on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 64bit. We want to install a set of development tools there, the Visual Studio.net 2012 being one of them. I would like to use that Visual Studio to develop applications that interact with our oracle 11g database, for which I assume I need the 64 bit ODAC. So far so good, but what about the Oracle Developer Tools. Is there any way to get them to run on a 64bit server, or do we have to change our setup?
Thank you very much!
When you install ODT, just make sure it goes into its own Oracle Home. Dont try to install it into the same location as 64 bit ODAC.
Thank you for the fast reply!
I'm looking forward to trying this out.
