>I ask if I can use VTC for preperation?
Certainly you *can* use it. The material is not a brain dump or something that is illicit. I assume the question you're really asking is whether the course is any good. I have not viewed that particular VTC course but I have used some of their others. I used one of their video courses for Linux+ when I was preparing for that exam. I do not believe it would have been sufficient in and of itself, but combined with a couple of books, it was certainly helpful.
Since VTC does not develop their materials but rather have it developed independently by contractors, I don't know how much of my statement you can apply to the MySQL course. They were almost certainly developed by two different people. My suggestion would be to use it as a source to prepare for the exam, but not as your only source.
that's what customer service of VTC answered me:
The courses are not specifically aimed at the exams, but in providing a foundation for MySQL 5 developer practices. Please review the movie "What this course will cover" in chapter 1 - sub-part 2.
