It is not easy to provide an answer based on the information you have provided, is this for a personal install, if so which products will you be install besides Essbase/Planning, which OS, 32/64bit?
Anyway to be honest 4GB is not going to provide you with much.
Thanks for your quick response,
I am installing Essbase & Planning in one system, and HFM, FDM, FR in another system with 188.8.131.52.
Database: SQL Server 2005.
OS: windows 2003 Server, 32 bit
Processor: Core 2 Duo
it's for my personal installation.
If it is just for personal use and 184.108.40.206 32bit with just Essbase/Planning installed then you should be able to just get away with it, really though you should be looking at increasing the available ram.
So from your reply i have understood that we can install Essbase and Planning with 4GB, So i think i can install only Essbase without planning with the Specifications.
Thanks for your quick reply.
Thanke in advance.
I once had Essbase, EAS, Planning, FR, WebAnalysis, Workspace, Shared Service (Relational Oracle XE 11) on a 4Gb. However once you start all of them you'll start feeling that your laptop is going to crash
Performance is dead slow. However if you are patient enough you can get the job done.
As per John's suggestion....
If you are going for memory upgrade you can go through below document for details of RAM and DISK space.
From the above search for "Server Disk Space and RAM" you will get all the information.
Thanks for your replies.
