Database Configuration failed error

Running a Dell x86_64 machine using CentOS 6.4

 

Install using the command: rpm -ivh oracle-xe-11.2.0-1.0.x86_64.rpm

Oracle XE installs without any errors.

 

However: When during database configuration we get the Database Configuration failed error

 

The logs all show similar errors, here's a snippet:
